Staff
Just a little about myself: I was born in Foley, AL in 1965 and my family moved to Plaquemines Parish, LA when I was one. I grew up in Buras, LA and later moved to Port Sulphur, a few miles "up the road." I attended Port Sulphur Baptist Church since 1993. I moved back to Gulf Shores, AL shortly after Hurricane Katrina and am enjoying being near my parents and relatives.
Please be in prayer for the people of lower Plaquemines Parish, LA as they are attempting to rebuild those communities. It is with great joy to hear of the rebuilding process that is taking place at Port Sulphur Baptist Church. My heart is still with my fellow brothers and sisters there.
I have to brag just a little. My first grandson was born June 25, 2008 in Thibodaux, LA. His name is Brayden Paul Haynes and is just beautiful of course. Proud parents are Jason and Casey Haynes.
I began my church secretary career here at Lagoon Baptist Church February 2006. I love this job because it puts me right in the middle of all the ministries here at the church and I can contribute in so many ways. What a blessing!!
